- born in 1964 in
Czech Republic to Slovak parents - Stefan and Helena; living in Aotearoa/New
Zealand since 1995...
- 4 children – Barco, Vasho, Kristian and Anastazia
- originally a chemical engineer, then high school teacher, radio
news announcer and reporter, sales manager, hammer hand, full time father,
small business owner, subcontractor, psychotherapy student, agent of
change...
- sensitive to any social justice misgivings; known as a stirrer;
notoriously standing up to authorities; at the age of 17, unwittingly,
sparked a ‘mini-revolution’ at a boarding school that lead to
investigation from ministry of education when the entire set of 400
students refused to eat dinner in protest
to my expulsion from a dormitory
- in 2005 watched a video screening of Marshall
Rosenberg’s introduction to Authentic Communication. To my complete
surprise, within 15 minutes into the video i found myself hooked. I sensed
a huge potential in it and never looked back since
- love the almost embarrassing simplicity as well as the richness and
universality of the concept. See Authentic Communication as ‘mental

allows both parties to connect as human beings and emerge from it unharmed
and richer…
- one of the most compelling and intense experiences manifesting the
power of A/C was my role of
mediating an ongoing 12 year long interpersonal conflict. Within the space
of a few hours both parties were able to shift dramatically and reach a
point of reconciliation
- yet another love at the first sight was my encounter with sociocracy in 2010. I have attended 4 w/shops with John Buck and Jerry Koch-Gonzales as a participant and as an assistant since then and entered a certification process (with Global Sociocratic Centre) to train as a sociocratic consultant
- an ardent cyclist, no car or mobile phone
- can teach you my Czecho-Slovakian accent and grow my beard at the
same time within less then a week
